About me.
Hi everyone, I’m Beth and i’m based just outside of Cockermouth in Cumbria. What a beautiful place the Lake District is and i am so thankful that i live here! I cover all aspects of photography however my main feature is Weddings, Portraiture, Pet/agricultural Portraits & Commercial/Corporate Photography
————————
I have been self-employed as a photographer for 9 years and still counting! I absolutely love my job and creating the memories I can for those people celebrating their special day.
This section is about me, however I never know what to write in these sections as I will do absolutely anything!
Here goes..
My main interest is Photography, i’ve had a passion for this since I was 16 years old. A little bit of a random passion as previously had no interest!
So far, i’ve won three best wedding photographer awards for the North West.. yippee! Amazing right..
I also have a huge love for Dogs.. oh I can’t contain how much I absolutely adore my Springer Spaniel Mac (moo). He’s crackers but certainly knows when it’s cuddle time and most certainly knows when it’s time for a hike up Latrigg or Sale Fell! (He’s too fat and old for this now!)
Update since Covid-19 Pandemic
I went and bought my own flock of sheep at the beginning of lockdown, 100+ of them, crazy right! I officially have my own little farm! After many years dwelling I went and done it! My favourite sheep of all times, Herdwicks, Cumbrias most known fell sheep for forming the hills the way they are to this day! I also ended up with 2 new dogs (Patch and Wren) the sheep dogs! Oh and by gosh they’re fantastic workers, we were then greeted by wren being in pup and we have 5 beautiful puppies as we speak (20.05.2021) Born in April.
I’m a huge Family Person and I just love them all - you’ll notice this when i’m streaming in tears whilst your dad is walking you down the isle, or Dad/Groom making an emotional speech.. Just don’t look at me and laugh after reading this whilst i’m photographing your wedding as I probably won’t be able to contain my laughter!
Since all of the above, I have taken on some more new fresh land, more sheep & a new puppy (one of Wren & Patchs, so we have Mum, Dad & now Daughter) & I’m back working full time.
Since the covid pandemic following on from the previous paragraphs, I have now over 300 sheep, 50+ cattle, I am officially a full time farmer & photographer! I couldn’t be anymore thankful for the two best jobs in the world.
Enough about me..
